
Cream of Wheat Pudding with Cranberry-Orange Sauce |

![]() 8-12 servings 1 qt milk ½ tsp salt 4 tbsp sugar 1tsp vanilla extract 5 oz cream of wheat ½ cup dried cranberries Bring milk, salt, sugar, vanilla extract to a boil. While stirring slowly add cream of wheat. Reduce heat. Keep stirring until thick. Add cranberries and pour in a mold which previously has been rinsed with cold water. Wait until cold, turn over on platter and serve with cranberry sauce. Cranberry-Orange Sauce 1 cup orange juice 3 tbsp sugar 3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries 2 tbsp orange juice 1tsp corn starch Bring cranberries to a boil with orange juice and sugar, until berries burst. Dissolve cornstarch in remaining orange juice, add to the berries, bring to a boil once more, remove from heat and let cool at room temperature. |
